I don't come here very often. Frankly, I forget about this place. I have so much tumbling around inside my head and I should remember that my education was in writing and I should continue to practice.
Today my only child headed off on his Middle School Adventure. I can hardly believe he is old enough for this part of his life. It seems that only yesterday I was wishing diapers away! (I promise that in actuality, it was MUCH longer ago than yesterday that he successfully stopped using diapers.)
As we prepared to get ready for back to school, I signed up for a contest on facebook to win a bevy of items. I had to follow 12 mom bloggers and then make comments or follow them on facebook or follow the product or company that was offering the item up for grabs. Some of the blogs were fun, some were all business laying out deals that are available and others were a mixture. I think the mixed ones were my favorites.
That being said, JD is already home from orientation. He is excited to be in the same hall as his best friend (which means he will get to eat lunch with him) and disappointed that the third musketeer is not in their hall. Oh what will this crazy 6th grade adventure bring?
